CANON MENU SETTINGS FOR SHOOTING WITH VINTAGE LENSES
In this video I’m going to show you how to setup your camera to shoot with vintage lenses and show you how to use the Fotodiox Pro FD to EOS R (RF) adapter. Did you buy a vintage lens and adapter only to put it on your Canon camera and realize your shutter button isn’t working? Lucky for you you found this video. There is a menu setting in Canon’s orange tab called “Release Shutter Without Lens” and you have to turn it on in order to actuate the shutter with a manual focus lens including vintage and most manual focus cinema lenses. If you’re interested in shooting some content with Canon’s vintage FD lenses than the Fotodiox adapter is a great choice. I’ve had it for over a year now and I haven’t had any issues with it.
