Canon Menu: How to Save and Load Camera Setting From SD Cards
Welcome to another quick EOS R5 Mark II tutorial. In this video I’m going to show you how to save and load multiple camera setting from your memory card. If you’re doing this with an older R5 you’ll need to have firmware 1.3.0 or higher installed on your camera to access this feature. As far as I know right now the only cameras that have this feature are the R5, R5C, R5 Mark II, R3 and R1. Being able to save your camera setting to a memory card is a really handy feature. It’s not only great for restoring your setting if you mess things up while experimenting but you can also save several camera settings for different shooting situations.
You could have setting setup for weddings, studio shoots, music videos etc. It really allows you to optimize your camera for any situations without having to fuss with remembering what setting you changed when you move on to the next project. This feature is also great if you need to have a group of cameras all using the same settings or moving your favorite settings on to a new camera.
If you want to learn how to upgrade your R5’s firmware I have a video here.
